We sometimes get asked, "Why don't you sell tools based on diameter? Wouldn't it be easier?" Probably, but that's not our style. We set out to perfect the wick centering tool, and our tools are designed to the hundredth of an inch to ensure a perfect fit on every vessel. The vessel dimensions that suppliers give are nominal, and we have actually seen them be off by 0.25". Unfortunately, that means that we can't design based on these dimensions and need to have a vessel in hand to fit our centering tools.
